There are now more tall buildings proposed for Manchester than for any other European city outside London. They will permanently alter our skyline in many exciting ways, and so it’s more important than ever that we survey and catalogue the impact they will have on our city.

The UrbInfo Tall Buildings Study aims to inform and advise those interested about the changes taking place on Manchester’s skyline in the next few years, what the city’s tall buildings are being used for, and what stage of the planning process they are at.
There are now over 60 tall buildings proposed for Manchester, many of which are under construction or scheduled to complete by 2020. In line with global trends, the vast majority of these schemes are for residential use; and in Manchester they occupy almost exclusively central locations, where veritable 'clusters' of tall buildings are now beginning to form.
Manchester's skyline is set to dramatically alter over the next couple of years. Download the Tall Buildings survey to find out how.
